What made you want to try half-frame, and what was your first half-frame camera?
My first half frame camera was an old Olympus Pen EE 2. I picked it up in a second hand shop for a few dollars thinking it would be a lot of fun. It worked for one roll and then failed spectacularly. The lens fell out and cracked.
My second half frame was the Kodak H35 and I was once again smitten with the small portable size, the economy of film use in it and just the overall fun factor. I bought one as soon as they came out, then bought the jazzier H35N when it was announced.
I carry the newer H35N model everywhere because it is so easy to do so.

What is it you like most about Half-frame?
I like the small size and portability of it. Plus I can load a roll of 24 exposure film, usually black and white, pack another spare roll and then hit the road. It’s such a small camera that I can wear it on a lanyard and not worry about a backache.
It’s also a discreet camera, the shutter is fairly quiet so if street scenes are your thing, it doesn’t make a lot of noise.

Favourite subject and/or Half-frame photo?
Favorite subject is a tough one, but mostly landscapy type scenes. I also like to make fake stereo shots.

Your top tip/s for shooting half frame photos?
My top tip is to just buy a half frame camera.
Secondly I’d say after you get one, to go on a short trip and only pack it so you can really get to know it and to have fun without overthinking anything. Due to its small size, you’re not going to get uber large prints using it, but you will get nice enough sized prints to share as postcards and to share online.
