What made you want to try half-frame, and what was your first half-frame camera?

I was attracted to 1/2 frame photography at first for It’s ability to create interesting compositions with multiple frames.

My first HF camera is my 1 and only Pen f (gothic)

What is it you like most about Half-frame?

I like the cinematic nature of composing images

 

Favourite subject and/or Half-frame photo?

My favourite subject or subjects rest in the finished piece from a single image to multiple images combined that lends itself to the process.

Your top tip/s for shooting half frame photos?

I find the best tip would be think 1,2,3 or more frames ahead and remember the previous frames. Expect surprises and embrace anomalies.
